- Personally, I wouldn't purchase one of their modems as it seems like they
- have poor support. A)They use one instruction book for all their
- modems./.. 2400 through 28.8! B)They STOPPED their 800 number AND Email
- support... I don't know how the modem itself is... but until v.34 gets
- VERY stable, I wouldn't buy from a company that wont give free ROM
- upgrades for bug fixes... (check that one out).
- You can only use at %q while on line- if not you get an error (that's
- standard)... While on line press +++ and wait a second until it says
- OK... THEN type at%q%l ... Also try at%q1 which MAY work and returns more
- info... Try forcing at %e2 (I think it is.. look up the %e command) There
- is also a S register that does the same thing so you can put it in NVRAM.
- You want to make sure that fallback/forward is enabled... Some old ROMs
- don't have this enabled....
